Pedlary as a Way to Ease Joblessness
Create jobs not Criminals

Parliament allows passage of Private Business in the form of Private Bills but astonishingly the government can make no comment about private business even if 48 million citizens are negatively affected - this is now the case.
Currently in Parliament are 2 such private bills (Bournemouth & Manchester) and their purpose is to undermine a liberty that all citizens above the age of 17 have, and that is the freedom to participate in the cultural life of the streets of that town and that city.

The bills are modeled on another private bill introduced in the City of Westminster in 1999 now being revamped with yet more private business to deal the fatal blow and to totally outlaw any cultural activity on the streets.

This is being done through legislating changes to the statute defining a lawful trader known as a Pedlar with the effect that this trading activity of selling goods on the street becomes a new crime.

What is also being brought in under the Westminster regime is to outlaw any offer of a service for gain or reward, which effectively removes the public’s chance of being offered a good deal by any ambitious entrepreneur like an Apprentice.
It’s all about control and putting the decision making into the hands of unknown people who the public only know about when getting seized by some sub-contractor out for a better bonus payment.

Private business about which government may make “no comment” in any sort of formal way which has any effect in law - is nonetheless able to make criminals out of a whole host of personalities that most of the public enjoy to see on the streets like the musicians busking and balloon benders bending, chestnuts roasting, chair menders bodging, onion selling, poets reading, and performers performing etc etc.

So called officers that have been made by the sort of appointment that mimics royalty bestowing favour on good and loyal servants, are then given the push to go out and about like free-booting buccaneers grabbing what they can and all without the previous approval of a Magistrate - anybody with their vehicle clamped and towed away knows the cost of this activity and how there’s nothing doing to get back to some sort of fair dealing in society. What is happening is that Westminster is assisting the spread of these ring-fenced domains like medieval fiefdoms out of the Dark Ages veering towards the sort of Social Discrimination that went on circa 1933 in central Europe.

My son Alexander on June 30th is due in one of Parliament’s Select Committees trying to defend the rights of 48 million citizens who know nothing about him or about what this government has done nothing to protect over this last decade.
