The Pedlars bill is a private members bill introduced by Dr Brian Iddon awaiting First Reading in the House of Commons.

Pedlars are adversely affected by this bill. 

Click write-to-them to ask your MP to speak up in Parliament against this unfair bill.

Modeled on private legislation, COW Act 1999, it is near identical in text and aims to prohibit the lawful activities of pedlars.

Pedlars should voice their opposition early in 2009 - either write to your MP or a Lord, write to BERR, or lobby Parliament

BERR have commissioned Durham University to gather evidence so that the government, Garteth Thomas MP, can formulate policy.
